My Story

I'm Hayley, a mum of two. For a while now, even while being a full-time mum, I've felt my spiritual side growing. About ten years ago, my family and I moved to South Lakes, and that's where I met my first Usui Reiki teacher. It felt like my spiritual journey really took off from there. I became fascinated by energy and body systems, and that sparked a real passion in me for complementary therapies. That's what led me to train as a holistic therapist.

I studied at The Devon Academy for Holistic Therapies and earned my iTec Level 3 qualifications in both Swedish Body Massage and Reflexology, which I added to my Reiki Practitioner status.

In 2020, The Healing Tree was born! It's my own little business, and I'm so passionate about helping people understand how their bodies and energy systems communicate with them. I believe we can all use alternative medicine and complementary therapies to encourage self-healing, reduce stress and anxiety, and achieve deep relaxation and overall well-being. Nurturing others and sharing my knowledge is at the heart of everything I do in my sessions.

I'm always learning and growing, so I've also added to my skills with CPD qualifications in Hot Stone Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Indian Head Massage, Holistic Facials, and Angelic Reiki. I'm committed to providing the highest quality care and continually developing my knowledge so I can offer my clients a diverse range of treatments tailored to their specific needs. That's why I make sure my qualifications are thorough and recognized by the regulatory bodies for association memberships. I'm a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, one of the leading membership organizations known for quality and care.

And I'm so excited to share that in 2024, I became a certified Usui Reiki Master Teacher! I'm really looking forward to offering Reiki courses in 2025!
